Mary TurneyInterior Designer
Mary Turney's design ideas derive from practical Midwest roots, a love of growing up in Oregon's lush natural landscapes, and a discerning eye derived from years of California living. With an interest in the arts, photography and design, she studied at the Design Institute of San Diego, graduating with a BFA in Interior Design. A diverse background-working for Boeing's Interior Design Department, to Professional Building Solutions, to starting her own business, Rooms ReDesigned-fostered a sense of innovation and flexibility.
But her dream was to move back to Oregon. At Henderer Design + Build, Mary now helps clients avoid design pitfalls and to refine their own vision. "Most people know what they want," she says, "They don't always know how to get there. I try to really listen to what they want out of their space. I love to help people make rooms beautiful, but they have to function and meet real needs. Sometimes people just need a fresh eye to see the possibilities."
Mary's lives with her husband Bob and daughter, Michele, in Corvallis.
